Free Computer Courses:
Computer training courses are being planned for the C@P Site at the Truro Library.
One-to-one classes on:
- basic and advanced computer skills;
- Internet, email and popular web-sites;
- work with files, folders and disks (includes cut, copy and paste);
- work with Word (documents), Excel (spreadsheets), PowerPoint (presentations);
- check emails, send emails;
- search engines (Google, Bing, etc);
- social networking (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc);
- how to protect your privacy on Facebook, etc;
- organize and edit digital pictures;
- use of a computer with a digital camera;
- play DVD and videos on a computer (and/or usage of YouTube);
- eReaders and tablets (Kobo, Kindle, iPad, etc.)
Feel free to bring in your questions and we will prepare a lesson based on your needs.
